I found the idea of a boy who only speaks through sound effects not only very funny but very clever. It reminded me a little of the DIY Cartoon Kit. The backgrounds are lovely and minimalist.

It was voted #9 of The 50 Greatest Cartoons^[1] of all time at 1994, it's surely worth checking out the list and try to watch all of them.
